Why "The Life Not My Own"?
I am a daughter of the Most High King, hopelessly in love with my Savior. Long ago, I learned that the only way to truly make a difference in this world was to lay all that I am down at God's feet and let Him live through me. More of Him, and always less-and-less of me. And so, you see, this life is not my own. It's a daily journey, and I fail so often, but I'll never give up.Who Am I?
I grew up in the mountain town of Flagstaff, AZ, and loved living there. I liked it so much, in fact, that I stayed there for college to study Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University. Then one day I met my cowboy, an amazing man from Arkansas...a place I had never been. I fell head-over-hills in love with this cowboy and a year later we said our vows and he whisked me halfway across the country to a teeny little town in North Central Arkansas. And I am so glad he did.Where We Are Today
My husband, Andy, is the co-owner of a local ironworks company and in August of last year I became a full-time homemaker and stay-at-home-mom after we welcomed our sweet baby boy, Miles Patrick Baker, into our family.
